I might very well be that in one age 24H houses are the best choice while in another the 8 Hours houses are to prefer. This makes it more efficient in later ages however those tables do not represent that. For every age you need to figure out what building of that age are the best. The required populations increases every age except for the Mad Scientist's Lab which requires 2 population in every age. Building Costs Requirements Provides Produces Marble Mason: 340. Most of the special production buildings also allow to produce other resources besides the supplies, but there are some that only produce supplies.
